Meet Abby

I’ve experienced what it feels like to be overwhelmed— by possessions, life transitions, and uncertainty.

Over the years, I’ve moved between countries, cities, and homes. I’ve helped family members and friends through major life changes, sorted through lifetimes of belongings, and discovered firsthand how closely our homes become intertwined with our stories.

Growing up with older parents, and later having the privilege of working with older adults in a variety of settings, gave me a deep appreciation for the fact that our homes hold far more than possessions. They hold memories, relationships, identities, and the many chapters of a life.

Looking back, I realize there’s been a common thread all along: I’ve always been drawn to helping people make sense of complicated things.

That’s why I created Room to Breathe.

I don’t believe organizing is about perfection. I believe it’s about creating a home that better supports the life you’re living today.

It’s a privilege to be invited into someone’s home, and I don’t take that lightly. My hope is that our work together leaves you feeling not only more organized, but a little lighter, a little calmer, and more at home in your own life. And perhaps, along the way, you’ll rediscover a few things you hadn’t realized you’d been missing.
