Frequently Asked Questions
-
I work with individuals and families navigating a wide range of life transitions, from moving into a new home to reclaiming a space that no longer feels manageable.
Many of my clients are older adults, adult children helping aging parents, academics and professionals facing a move, or families sorting through a loved one’s belongings after a major life change.
While every situation is different, my approach remains the same: practical support, thoughtful organization, and respect for the people at the center of the process.
-
Absolutely not. That’s what I’m here to help with.
-
Many organizing services focus primarily on efficiency, aesthetics, or getting things done as quickly as possible.
While progress matters, I believe the process matters too.
Our homes are filled with memories, identities, unfinished projects, hopes, grief, and sometimes decades of accumulated life. Sorting through those things can be surprisingly emotional. My approach combines practical organization with patience, curiosity, and respect for what belongings represent to the people who own them.
I don’t believe in shaming, pressuring, or forcing decisions. Instead, I help clients move forward at a pace that feels productive and sustainable.
My goal isn’t simply to create a tidy space. It’s to help create enough clarity and breathing room for whatever comes next.

Simply send me an email, give me a call, or fill out the contact form.
Many people reach out feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure where to begin. That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out before contacting me.
We’ll start with a conversation about your situation and what feels most challenging right now. From there, we can decide together what kind of support would be most helpful.
Sometimes the hardest part is making the first call. I’ll meet you where you are.
-
Every project is different, so I don’t use one-size-fits-all packages.
Most clients begin with a complimentary consultation, during which we’ll discuss your goals, timeline, and the kind of support you’re looking for.
From there, services are typically billed hourly, with options for longer projects and ongoing support when appropriate.
I’ll always be transparent about costs, and we’ll discuss expectations before any work begins.
-
Most people contact me because they feel overwhelmed.
You don’t need to have a plan. You don’t need to clean up before I arrive. You don’t need to know where to start.
We’ll begin by understanding what’s causing stress, identifying your priorities, and breaking the process into manageable steps. From there, we’ll work together to make steady progress.
Some sessions involve organizing and sorting. Others involve decision-making, paperwork, packing, unpacking, or simply creating enough structure to make a project feel possible.
Clients often tell me that what they appreciate most is having a calm, supportive presence alongside them during a process that can otherwise feel daunting.
My role is part organizer, part project manager, and part steady companion through a transition.
-
Never. Decisions remain yours. My role is to help you think through them and make progress without overwhelm.
